Poster submissions for the Special Focus Meeting are now closed. Submissions closed 18th December 2025 at 23.59 CET.
Accepted abstracts will be exhibited as physical paper posters on poster boards at the Special Focus Meeting in London on the 6 – 7th March, 2026.
The programme for the Meeting will focus on AI in Retina. As space for posters will be limited, the subject matter of submitted abstracts will be taken into account in the selection process.
Prizes of complimentary registration for the Vienna 2026 Congress will be awarded to the best posters.
– The Poster abstract submission process will close on Thursday 18th December, 2025 (23:59 CET).
– Please note that you must be a EURETINA Member in order to submit a Poster abstract. If you are not a member please CLICK HERE to join.
– Each applicant may submit a maximum of 2 Poster abstracts.
– If you wish to withdraw your accepted abstract from the Congress programme, you must confirm via email to [email protected] by Friday 28th February, 2026 (23:59 CET).
– If your poster is accepted for presentation full details of Poster requirements will be sent to you in due course.
If you choose to submit an abstract(s) we will use your personal details to keep you updated on its status including whether it has been accepted for presentation at the Special Focus Meeting.
Poster Abstracts should be submitted under the topic of AI in Retina.
All submitted abstracts must be in English and follow the structured format below:
– Title (250 characters max)
– Purpose (100 words max): To contain a brief summary and concise goal of the study
– Setting/Venue (50 words max)
– Methods (200 words max): Should include: Descriptions of the inclusion/exclusion criteria, experiments performed, outcome measures, data analysis procedures and statistical analysis procedure.
– Results (200 words max): Should be qualitative data and/or quantitative data with proper statistical information. Figures or tables can be included.
– Conclusions (200 words max): A concise conclusion should be provided based on the evidence presented in the Results section. The Conclusions should address the question/hypothesis stated in the Purpose section.

If applicable please clearly list your financial interest in the subject matter or if you receive funds from any mentioned companies.
– All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by a panel of experts before a final selection is made.
– The decision of the Euretina Review Committee is final.
– If your poster abstract is accepted for presentation, you will be informed of this by email by the beginning of February, 2026.
– Presentation titles must not include company names.
– Accepted Posters must not include company logos.
– The summary of results presented must be given in sufficient detail to support the conclusions. The Review Committee will only accept abstracts with final results or conclusions.
– Formulae should, in general, be avoided.
– When using abbreviations or acronyms for the first time, care should be taken to spell them out in full with the abbreviation in parentheses after the full word(s) the first time it appears in the text. The abbreviation should be used alone thereafter.
– Euretina does not take any ownership of the copyright of a presentation. However, presenters are required to sign a Transfer of Rights document at the time of the presentation upload.
