Dear Euretina Community,

It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the 26th Euretina Congress, taking place from 1–4 October in Vienna, Austria.

Euretina continues to stand as the largest retina meeting in the world, bringing together a truly global community, with more than 140 nationalities represented. This breadth of perspectives is central to the strength and progress of our field.

Building on this global foundation, we are proud to introduce World Retina @ Euretina, a new networking space and international stage running across all four days of the Congress. It is designed to strengthen global exchange and celebrate the international character of our meeting.

We continue to enhance the Congress experience with new and evolving formats, including a revamped Free Paper Forum stage, a dedicated Poster Theatre, and a dynamic scientific programme featuring keynote lectures and expert-led sessions from around the world.

We are also pleased to host the 4th FEBOS-R Euretina Exam on Wednesday, 30 September 2026, continuing our commitment to education and professional excellence within the retina community.

In addition, we are delighted to host the fourth annual Euretina Innovation Spotlight (EIS) Meeting on the same day, Wednesday, 30 September 2026, fostering collaboration across clinical, research, and industry communities. Following strong engagement last year with over 800 registrations, we look forward to building on its continued success.
