Dear Colleagues,

It is my great honour to invite you to the 23rd Euretina Congress in Amsterdam from Thursday 5th to Sunday 8th October 2023. The meeting will take place in the RAI, located only a short distance from the famous canals, museums and bustling centre of historic Amsterdam.

In a new development, the Board is delighted to announce the launch of the Euretina Innovation Spotlight (EIS) taking place on Wednesday 4th October. This will be a half-day programme, running from 13.00 – 19.00 CEST at the RAI, the day prior to the Congress. The goal of EIS is to foster collaboration, communication and contact directly between industry, regulators, investors, researchers and physicians involved or interested in the retinal innovation space. It aims to offer a different perspective to the clinically-lead, evidence-based medical education which is the core offering of our main Congress.

Once again, the Congress will be hybrid with content available for streaming during and after the event. Attending a live meeting has numerous benefits, including live lectures, surgical skills training courses, the opportunity to interact with speakers and colleagues, as well as a chance to visit the exhibition.

After our successful delegate party aboard the Cap San Diego in Hamburg, we are delighted to continue this new tradition with a party at the iconic De Hallen Studios in Amsterdam. This will take place on the night of Saturday 7th October and allows delegates a chance to socialize late into the night in a relaxed environment.

Sustainability will once again be at the core of our conference organization as we continue to measure and lower our carbon output.
